Fuck that. As an open source dev, my solidarity is needed, and it isn’t lesser than the convenience their keyboard gives. It may be a small gesture, but it’s better than ignoring my principles.
Great minds think alike! I ended up installing it last night. I need to fiddle with the font size of the keys to better accommodate my fingers, but it’s a good replacement so far.

Heliboard and florid seems to be solid. Heliboard is even crowd sourcing training their swiping word prediction engine.
Thanks for the recommendation, a little tweaking and I’ve replace FUTO keyboard with something that’s actually open source!
