As Australians look for ways to cut grocery costs, confusing food date labels could be driving people to throw out food that’s still perfectly safe to eat.

    And if the tin of whatnot has a best before date of greater than 2 years the manufacturer does not even have to provide a use by date on the tin. What a cop-out.
