Since they are redistributing production across their other locations, I can’t help but see this as a continuation of the move of jobs from Democratic-aligned states towards the South. It’s no accident they’re closing locations in Washington and Illinois and moving those jobs to Texas and Kansas.

Locals should pressure their legislators to implement internal trade barriers to protect the interests of union workers within their states.
