As someone not from Alaska, quick question. Is that oil made for seals, oil made from seals, or oil used to ensure a proper seal when closing a container?

Made from seals, it’s rendered blubber. Native Alaskans have exclusive hunting rights to seals and whales and seeing aunties run a big oil pot for making seal or whale oil is super common.
