Too little, too late for me. Even if the company didn’t make the donation, the salary he used to make it came from Mullvad.

If you are a VPN company and one of your co-founders and owners is a Nazi type while the other one defends him it’s not even about where your money is going, it’s about being fundamentally untrustworthy and unprincipled.

I do understand your point. I have a hard time forming my opinion. Let me be clear, it clearly is shitty that he donated to some fuckwads. But you’re free to give money to whoever you want with your salary, why wouldn’t he be?

He is free to use his Mullvad salary to fund Nazi types. That was never the question.

The question is do you want to help generate his salary for him by doing business with Mullvad? You’re free to do that. I won’t give this company another penny.

It can be so hard to be principled in the modern day. However, since there are readily available VPN providers who aren’t owned by people funding Nazis, this isn’t a hard call to make.
