Not much more information.
Is it actually good or not? Serious question.
Yes. As I understand it bans imports from Israelis who are illegally settling in the West Bank.
While some at the border might be chill, especially the deep settlements are basically just psychopaths terrorizing Palestinians in hopes of driving them out.
Not even the Israeli government seems to like them.
How the israeli government do not like them when it is the government who built the colonies, bring the colonizers, arms them and allow the idf to protect them?
It’s terrible PR. Also they sometimes fight with the IDF, when the IDF tries to calm things down. They are the most hardliners there and uncontrollable.
Edit: The government turns a blind eye to the outer settlements, that slowly grow and encroach on Palestinian territory. They are also illegal, but easier to ignore. The deep Settlements are basically terror outposts that only cause problems for everyone.
Just look at the US congress guy getting blocked in the west bank. That is an insane thing to do.
But (going after the limited info in the article) it seems Belgium sanctions all settlements which is good since they are all illegal.
If it is a terrible pe what israel is waiting to finqlly respect ir’s part of the oalo accords and start to slowly dismentling the colonies?
