installing firefox from google.play (or fennec from f-droid or whatever fenix build) and adding ublock origin from addons menu should be pretty straightforward i believe
honestly not sure if the ddg browser can be recommended, especially because webview is ancient and not updated on quite a few android phones

IDK, just installing a browser plugin sounds to me a lot easier than completely switching browsers to a niche one…
This is definitely suited more for the less advanced users.
