        Due to reappropriation, the word has started being used by some British Pakistanis in a non-pejorative sense as a slang term referring to another Pakistani or person of South Asian descent, often in a neutral or friendly way.

        That’s good. Just like African Americans turned “nigger” into “nigga” and made it so cool that even right-wingers use it as a term of endearment towards each other. How the tables turn.
