Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesperson Hossein Mohbi claimed on Wednesday that a US-made Patriot missile was responsible for the destruction of the passenger terminal building at Kuwait International Airport.

According to the semi-official Tasnim news agency, Mohbi said an investigation had been conducted into the attack on the airport terminal, claiming that the IRGC Air Force had not targeted the facility.

He said the findings showed that the destruction of the terminal was caused by a malfunction in US Patriot air defence systems, which failed to intercept Iranian missiles and instead fell onto the building.

They haven’t lied about this war since it started right?

Wrong. They have made several propagandists lies during the war. And of course decades before.

Like what? From my end every time they claimed a hit it was true. My government has been lying for decades as well especially about actions in the middle east.

Sure, the US government lies, especially now when there’s a person in charge who seems to be incapable of telling the truth. But let’s not dichotomize this too much: both sides are lying, both sides are their own kinds of evil. But not equally evil.

I’ll list a few of the lies:

        1. Claims of successful strikes on USS Abraham Lincoln around March 1. We also saw those spread here, which is some sort of telling.

        2. IRGC claims 100x casualty rates compared to reality for US troops in the first week of the war.

        3. Claims that Al-Udeid radar site in Qatar being completely destroyed by a drone strike around February 28.

        4. Claims that several F-35s had been shot down. Al-Jazeera spread this one. I reality, seems like one has been damaged on ground, and none have been shot down.

        5. Plus generally all kinds of exaggerations about the great things Iran’s side has done and the horrible things their enemies have done. Some groups of people in west swallow these without a second thought.

        6. Persistent Holocaust denial. A classic.

        7. Claims that ISIS was created by Mossad and CIA.

Classic propaganda tactics: stuff you cannot check at the time, but even if you check and debunk them later, a certain feeling will linger. And most people won’t even bother to check. They’re pretty good at that, which explains a lot of the delusion in the west about that area.

I wanna pretext this with saying I do not support Iran.

However I do think the US is responsible for ISIS.

          • Toppled Saddam, generation of veterans who lost. Historically this always leads to gangs/mercenaries/etc. increase violence.
          • al-Qaeda genuinely morphs into ISIS.
          • continued US intervention causes more grief that pushes more youth to ISIS.

The CIA didn’t sit in the room and create them, but they built the room and brought them together to do so. Definitely responsible.

          And those lies aren’t that terrible, atrocious. They’re what I’d expect from a war. Meanwhile my country;

          1. The war is over. It’s not. We have a truce. We don’t. Strait is open. It isn’t. x40. This point alone is actually like 6 because of the amount they’ve done this.
          2. The strike on the girl’s school. US tried to blame Iran when it was the US.
          3. Amount of casualties and damage dealt.
          4. Failed missions status and missing shots. Hotels in Dubai, ports in qatar, all have been struck by military missiles that allegedly misfired or missed their target.
          5. I’m pretty sure Iran did destroy at least one f35. I know they hit one but I feel like I remember a rescue operation of some kind involving an f35
          6. That pilot who was actually shot down. There was a whole panic to get him and the US almost didn’t. And then tried to hide that fact.

From my end. The US literally is a drunk I cannot hold a conversation with. One minute he’s talking about this or that and there’s no useful information I can take. I can’t even trust information that seems reliable.

At least with Iranian information I can suss out the BS a lot easier? Holocaust denial? “Iran shot down 45 F35” yeah okay. But the actual status, casualty rate and potentially how my country is doing in this conflict Trump invented I genuinely have to see what Iran is saying to know. So for me, the US is far more untrustworthy.
