I don’t know the lines, but my guess is like the rest: Spurs are favored, in 7 likely? I have no idea where the media is on this match up. My sense is, Knicks got OG and a fairly mobile center in KAT who can slow Wemby on offense. But Spurs are most likely going to be effective in slowing Brunson significantly given the likes of Castle and Harper on their roster. Spurs’ guards are bigger and more athletic than Knicks and they can shine on offense and limit Knicks’ shrimps on defense, IF their injuries don’t return and hamper them.

Knicks’ roleplayers will have to overperform in order for them to win, but they do have enough just pieces to do this. The X factor will be Knicks’ away fans - how much of Spurs’ arena will be filled by Knicks fans as early reports indicate they are already buying up huge amounts of tickets before WCFs finished. If Knicks’ fans make Frost Bank Center their home away from home, it just might even up the odds for NY.

Tricky. Before the playoffs, if you had told me it would be Spurs vs. Knicks, I would’ve said Spurs for sure, because they have the better core and some advantages over the Knicks (tall guards, Brunson’s limitations on D, KAT’s constant foul trouble). But the Knicks have looked much better in the playoffs than the regular season, they’re well rested, and have a deeper, more consistent bench. Now I think it’s a toss-up. Perhaps Knicks in 7, although I want the Spurs to win this thing.

I’m trying to see a path for Knicks to win, because I think the next 5-10 years is going to be owned by OKC and Spurs. I agree with your point about the bench. OKC had a deeper bench too. lol

Knicks in 7. It’s probably the last time a Wemby team is going to beatable for a long time.
