For the first time in history, a British court will attempt to sentence activists taking direct action as terrorists despite not being convicted of terror charges. This was kept secret from the jury and UK media has been barred from disclosing it until now. Harriet Williamson reports.
It’s just not terrorism, by any normal understanding of that word. It doesn’t inflict any terror on anyone, either intentionally or unintentionally, nor does it even attempt to inflict terror.
