I’ve only read the first in the series so far, but Her Majesty’s Royal Coven by Juno Dawson is another good alternative if you’re looking for LGBT-friendly British urban fantasy. Content Warning for anyone currently going through a difficult coming-out process though as it does contain that as one of the plotlines and has some bigoted characters as a result.
If you want your fill of British Wizards, read Rivers of London.
The audio books are fantastic as well and my preferred way to consume the series. Currently on my 5th listening of them.

Excellent, another series to add to my read/listen list, thank you for the recommendation.
