1·8 days agoI think many vehicles still use the old CAN bus that just wasn’t setup with external connectivity in mind. It’s well known that even premium brands often reuse all the same components.
I’ve heard that Tesla were the first to replace this with something closer to a modern network in the cybertruck, of all things.

I also use it from my home to access content that is region locked or censored in my country.
No benefits? The way things are going, you won’t be able to fart on the internet without a VPN.

Not to mention it’s easier to make a pipe gun than to learn 3d printing

Any normal printer doesn’t have nearly enough processing power to run analysis on bgcode/instruction files (it’s nor needed for normal operation).Good luck idiot lawmakers

The funny thing about this is that the biggest customers can’t usually just switch. If a system is set, it is set for decades, generations or the entire company lifetime.
So microslop may start feeling part of the impact way further along the line, and wouldn’t be able to do shit about it
