People who live in California, if anyone bothers to enforce it, would have two options:

1. Switch OSs to something that does comply, or
2. Risk criminal actions for using their computer wrong

It should be implemented as “This is only required if you live in California” during setup. However, this does sound completely unenforceable. If I have a connecting flight through LA, will they send a swat team to pick me up at the airport for not setting it up and using the WiFi?

I’ve been waiting for this news. Always rubbed me the wrong way that in order to use graphene, you had to buy a google phone.

I had a meeting with my boss today about my AI usage. I said I tried using Claude 4.5, and I was ultimately unimpressed with the results, the code was heavy and inflexible. He assured me Claude 4.6 would solve that problem. I pointed out that I am already writing software faster than the rest of the team can review because we are short staffed. He suggested I use Claude to review my MRs.
