  • One last thing my best friend owns a AI start up I’m completely against AI and artificial intelligence, use in anything, I’m a digital minimalist. But that’s why we make good friends. convenience is the killer of motivation and self-drive in life. If you only surround yourself with people that are just like you and only think like you, you’re living in an echo chamber and you’re not being challenged. I like challenge in life. So I’ll put myself in challenging situations to overcome them, not surround myself in a cult of people just like me feeding back to make my own ideas. Almost like living in a real life, AI echo chamber of confirmation bias. 🤔

  • I’m more speaking to the broader audience not just the op i’m not specifically psycho analyzing anyone but if you feel like you’re being psycho analyzed, maybe you are the human mind tends to psychoanalyze everything around us. So if I’m psychoanalyzing, it’s not purposeful. Just a natural response to reading something someone posted personal about themselves on the internet. I’m not saying what you’re saying doesn’t have validity. But I’m also saying what I’m saying has validity. so I think the best we can do here is agree to disagree and go our separate ways and hope the OP has a better day!! Good luck on your path brothers/sisters/others

  • At the end of the day he’s having an identity crisis because something he cared for deeply was taken away by the advancement of another technology. And when these concerns that were important to him, that may be not as important to other people, were not validated. It was upsetting to him. But you can’t just kick everyone out of your life and unfriend everyone you’ve ever met because they didn’t validate how you feel in that moment because not every feeling needs to be validated and the fault that every feeling and emotion needs to have some sort of validation is the same reason. A lot of people get stuck in a depressive loop. Once you get stuck in a woe’s me loop it’s hard to break the cycle of self-remination. I’m just saying don’t make one thing who you are as a person and when that one thing is taken away you won’t feel personally attacked. Depressed or not depressed, either which way you need to diversify your interest in life and maybe don’t attach yourself to one thing. And you also have to understand other people have different upbringings, interest, hobbies, life experiences, thoughts, hopes and dreams, and you can’t expect everyone to feel concerned just because you’re concerned about something. Even if your concerns are valid concerns. Take, for instance, a hyper-religious family, shoving religion down someone’s neck that’s not religious. That’s probably going to cause a problem. You can’t force feed people your ideas and ideologies and get mad at the world when they don’t accept them. Everyone has the right to their opinion, their faults, their hopes, and their dreams. And just because someone has a different opinion than you, doesn’t mean you should demonize them.
